SCIENCE LABS

Science labs are imperative for schools. In order to understand its concepts, students at RIS are encouraged to look beyond the books and conventional classroom teaching. For effective teaching and learning of science students see, handle and operate real objects and materials. The knowledge that kids attain in classrooms essentially observe the process and understand the relationship between action and reaction at different labs.  Effective teaching and learning of science involves a perpetual state of show and tell. The science labs combine, classroom teaching with practical’s to ensure that students grasp each and every concept thoroughly. It is also believed that laboratory teaching and experiments that are being conducted assist and support deep understanding in children. Children are able to retain the knowledge for longer when they see the experiments being performed practically. Science labs allow students to interact directly with the data gathered. They get a first-hand learning experience by performing various experiments on their own. Students are made to use the models and required apparatus to understand different scientific theories and concepts. The advanced and well prepared labs in the school prepare brilliant and dedicated scientists and researchers. Children develop interest in scientific research in science labs. , their reasoning skills are honed and they start thinking deeply on various scientific theories and concepts. The School thus, plays a vital role in bringing up the next generation of engineers and doctors.

MATHS LAB

Amazing learning happens when a student himself does what the theorems he learnt in the math class. To enrich the teaching of Mathematics at the school level, the math lab has been set up. The “learning by discovery” approach is practiced here and students are made to work on projects and activities, which highlight the relevance of mathematics. They get hands on experience. The lab also encourages group learning cooperative learning among children. It not only encourages ‘do & discover’ method but also removes the fear of Math and thus complements classroom learning. They not only study the various concepts, they go back to the life of the mathematician, learn about his background, his life, learning strategies, and the limited opportunities he had to work with. It inspires the young mind by emulating their example.

COMPUTER LAB

The school has a large spacious computer Lab. This set up is completely managed by highly qualified and trained educators. The school provides computer science education to students right from class 1st onwards with thorough professional zeal. Computer labs for both junior and senior students are connected through Local Area Network (LAN) and Internet. It provides a true atmosphere to students to grow with a keen understanding of technology. Multimedia presentation makes the learning easy and interesting.
